Overflow // private project intake

The right introduction starts with a useful brief.

For project owners with real work who need to understand who fits before inviting anyone into the engagement.

More signal. Fewer pitches.

A public job post asks everyone to raise a hand. Overflow starts somewhere else: what needs to change, what a good outcome looks like, and what boundaries are real.

The result is a private fit conversation before you spend time on vendor calls, proposals, or introductions that were never going to work.

Get project-owner access.

Sam approves each project owner before they can submit. There is no open marketplace or public project board.

Write one useful brief.

Describe the problem, outcome, budget or engagement model, timing, and practical boundaries—in the project desk or through your agent.

Submit it privately.

One named owner manages the project. Overflow reviews the stable submitted version and may ask for more information.

Meet the right people.

If the network can help, Overflow makes direct introductions. You decide what happens next with the people you meet.

Bring a project when…

  • You own or sponsor real work inside a company, client, or organization
  • You can explain the problem and desired outcome, even if the solution is still open
  • You want a small number of relevant introductions, not a pile of proposals
  • One person can manage the brief, decisions, and follow-up

This is not…

  • A public job board, staffing marketplace, or open request for bids
  • A promise that Overflow will find a match
  • A contract with Overflow or a commitment to deliver the work
  • A substitute for your own procurement, diligence, or engagement terms

Overflow makes introductions.

Submitting a brief starts a private evaluation. It does not create a contract, guarantee a match, or commit Overflow to deliver or manage the engagement.
